Joe Nieuwendyk of the Calgary Flames, the top rookie scorer in the National Hockey League, heads the 1987-88 all-rookie team. He was joined by right wing Ray Sheppard and defenseman Calle Johansson of Buffalo, goaltender Darren Pang of Chicago, defenseman Glen Wesley of Boston and left wing Iain Duncan of Winnipeg.
