Elsewhere in the nation’s rock ‘n’ roll dockets, a New York woman filed a $5-million suit Tuesday against rock legend star Chuck Berry, claiming he punched her and caused severe physical and emotional injuries. Marilyn O’Brian Boteler said Berry, 62, “violently and forcefully” struck her in the face with his fist on Dec. 18, 1987, in the Gramercy Park Hotel at 21st Street and Lexington Avenue. Boteler would not say whether she had dated Berry and refused to say why she and the rocker had a dispute.
