BoMed Medical Manufacturing, Irvine, posted net income of $34,000 for its second quarter ended May 31, contrasted with a second-quarter loss last year of $280,000. Revenue totaled $743,000, a 71% increase over the $435,000 reported for the like period last year. For the six months, the medical instrument manufacturer reported net income of $58,000. The year-earlier net loss was $482,000. Revenue rose 70%, to $1.3 million from the $781,000 posted for the comparable period last year.
