UCLA Signs Three for Track and Field

Three track and field standouts have signed national letters of intent to attend UCLA next year, the school announced Thursday.
The three signees are Diatori Gildersleeve from Grant High School in Sacramento, Tim Prince from Logan High in Union City, Calif., and Mike Stevenson from Morse High in San Diego.
Gildersleeve has best marks of 25 feet, 3 3/4 inches in the long jump, 50-11 in the triple jump, 13.9 seconds in the 110-meter high hurdles and 37.80 seconds in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles.
Prince has gone 51-2 1/2 in the triple jump, 24-0 in the long jump and 7-0 in the high jump.
Stevenson is a sprinter with best times of 21.31 seconds in the 200 meters and 47.22 seconds in the 400.
