Four hundred Vietnamese soldiers, in what Hanoi called the largest single troop withdrawal since the 1978 invasion of Cambodia, piled aboard civilian buses and pulled out of bases in central Cambodia on their way home. The soldiers are among the first of 50,000 troops Vietnam says it will withdraw from Cambodia this year, under a timetable to remove all its forces by 1990.
