Pediatric Center for Indigent Expands

The California Pediatric and Medical Center, which offers medical care to the children of low-income families throughout Los Angeles, has expanded its facilities at 1550 S. Olive St., near Venice Boulevard.
The clinic has the nation’s largest nonprofit medical programs for poor families and currently treats 23,000 patients per year, with an emphasis on preventive health care.
It also operates a day-care center for any employee working downtown.
