Berlinger Buys 6.6% of Advanced Polymer

The managing director of a venture capital firm has purchased 6.6% of Redwood City, Calif.-based Advanced Polymer Systems Inc.’s common shares according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
David L. Berlinger of Menlo Park, Calif.-based Berlinger Associates paid $88.175 for 384,600 common shares. The investor did not say when he bought the securities.
