U.S. Carrier in Israel

HAIFA, Israel — The 6th Fleet aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower on Monday began its first maneuvers with the Israeli navy, the fleet commander said.
The exercises from this northern port city will involve mock combat at sea and refueling of the carrier by Israeli naval vessels, Vice Adm. Kendall Moranville told reporters.
