La Puente : Council Approves 10% Raise

City Council members unanimously approved a 10% raise for themselves Tuesday, bringing their monthly salaries to $438.
This was the first increase since August, 1986, City Manager Frank Ruiz said.
The increase provides a 5% boost for each of the last two years. It covers compensation for meetings of the council, commissions and boards, as well as at other city-related functions.
