POLITICS ’88 : CAMPAIGN ’88 : Dole Aide Shifts to Bush

Bill Lacy, an official of Dole’s unsuccessful campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, has been named to coordinate Bush’s presidential campaign in California.
Lacy, 34, directed the Office of Political Affairs for the White House in 1985-86 and served as a deputy assistant to President Reagan. He was also political director of the GOP National Committee.
