Local News in Brief : Countywide : Use a Bit Less Water, MWD Urges Residents

Metropolitan Water District officials on Friday asked Southland residents to use a little less water for the rest of this month.
Southern Californians were within a percentage point of maintaining the targeted 10% monthly water-conservation rate, according to figures released by the MWD, which supplies much of the water used by Los Angeles and Orange County residents.
