Jackson and the Democrats in Atlanta
I read with interest about the Democrats being concerned with being boring (Calendar, July 18). The next day I read with interest, chagrin and concern “Dukakis Agrees to Campaign Roles for Jackson, Aides” (Part I, July 19). If Jackson continues to milk every drop of publicity from his “day in the sun,” by the time the election is over, the Democrats may feel that there are worse things than being “boring.”
