I can’t understand how President Reagan can take credit for improvements in the unemployment, inflation and interest rates and still blame the “liberal big spenders” in Congress for an annual $100-plus billion budget deficit and an increase in the national debt greater than the total of all of the prior Administrations since 1776.
Didn’t it all happen on his watch?
