ASUNCION, Paraguay — Students and professors boycotted classes at the Catholic University here Thursday to protest Paraguay’s expulsion of Father Juan Antonio de la Vega, a Jesuit priest and canon law professor at the university. The government accused the priest of advocating its violent overthrow.
