West German Flees to East, Is Sent Back

MUNICH, West Germany — A West German fed up with family rows climbed over the border into East Germany, West German border police said today.
But his bid for peace and quiet failed.
Border police said the 32-year-old salesman climbed the fence at the Bavarian border Wednesday and blew a whistle to attract the attention of East German sentries. They took him into custody but sent him back home the next day.
