Harcourt Brace Jovanovich has named Robert E. Evanson chairman of HBJ Parks, which has headquarters in Orlando, Fla. Harcourt owns and operates Sea World theme parks in San Diego, San Antonio, Cleveland and Orlando, as well as Cypress Gardens and Boardwalk and Baseball, two other attractions in central Florida. Evanson, 51, a senior vice president of Harcourt, had been deputy for publishing. He succeeds Jack O. Snyder, who left Harcourt about a month ago.
