Victor M. G. Chaltiel, president and chief operating officer of Salick Health Care Inc., will resign by Oct. 2 to pursue other interests, according to the company. Chaltiel, who has held the posts since May, 1985, will also resign from the board of directors of the Beverly Hills-based provider of dialysis and cancer treatment. The company has no plans to replace Chaltiel and the duties of president and chief operating officer will be handled by various Salick officers, according to Leslie F. Bell, senior vice president of Salick.
