Pacific Palisades : Library Receives $147,000

Long-time resident Lois E. Vinette, who died last year, bequeathed $147,000 to the Palisades branch of the Los Angeles Public Library, library officials said. Also receiving $147,000 each from Vinette’s estate were the Westside Independent Services to the Elderly, Theater Palisades, the Brentwood Guild of the John Tracy Clinic and the Emeritus College Branch of Santa Monica College.
Vinette formerly taught photography at Hamilton High School in West Los Angeles.
