Local News in Brief : Woman’s Body Found off Griffith Park Road

Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Griffith Park, Los Angeles police said Saturday.
The body was found at 12:30 p.m. Friday off a road entering the park near Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive, Sgt. Joe Ramm said.
Few details about the death were disclosed. The woman was about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds, Ramm said.
The cause of death was unknown pending an autopsy by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Ramm said.
