Debate Over the Presidential Debates

Boy, do I have an idea for Mr. Bush who doesn’t have time to have four debates. Instead of debates to discuss the issues, have a national “Pledge-off.” Best two out of three recitations of the Pledge of Allegiance between the two candidates. That would save so much time the candidates could then have a “Slogan-off.” Five minutes of alternating slogans and “buzz-words.” There’s no doubt Bush would win hands down.
