3 TV Stations Lose Power

A cable failure at a major switching station in Hollywood knocked out power to three local television stations at 4:30 Saturday morning, but the stations--KCBS-TV, KTTV and KCOP-TV--all switched to alternate power sources and the interruptions were momentary. The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power said full power was restored at 5:16 a.m.
