SEOUL — Oscar Schmidt scored 35 points in one half, finished with 44 and led Brazil past China, 130-108, Tuesday in Olympic men’s basketball.
Schmidt helped his team to a 72-61 halftime lead, and Brazilian Coach Ary Vidal rested his star for more than 9 minutes at the start of the second half in anticipation of Wednesday’s game with the United States.
