PREP FOOTBALL : Laguna Hills Last-Minute Rally Good Enough for 21-19

A 33-yard field goal by Rob Milo in the final minute gave Laguna Hills High School a 21-19 come-from-behind victory over San Clemente in front of 1,500 at San Clemente Friday night.
Laguna Hills (1-2) began its drive on its 12-yard line with less than 3 minutes left. Quarterback Mike Helm completed 15 of 28 passes for 288 yards.
He connected with Mike Allison for 9 yards on a critical third and 10 play at the San Clemente 34. Helm picked up the first down on a quarterback sneak to move Laguna Hills into position for the winning field goal. Milo’s kick came with 27 seconds left.
Helm threw two touchdown passes to Allison earlier, including a 73-yarder on the second play of the game. They later connected on a 34-yard scoring pass. Allison was the leading receiver, with 5 receptions for 147 yards.
San Clemente is 0-3.
