HOH Agrees to Purchase Water-System Marketer

HOH Water Technology, a Newbury Park company developing a water-purification system for commercial and residential use, said it agreed to acquire Seymour Water Conditioning, a privately held marketer of water-treatment systems in Santa Barbara.
The price was not disclosed, although HOH said the proposal calls for Seymour to receive HOH stock. HOH also said it expects to close the transaction within three months.
HOH said that the proposed purchase is part of its plan to set up its own channels of distribution and that Seymour would begin selling HOH’s new water-purification products once they are available in early 1989.
