Louis Meunier, manager of the Macy’s store on Union Square in San Francisco, will become the new marketing chief for the company’s 25 stores in California and Nevada, a position that will represent his first marketing job. Meunier, 41, was named to replace Senior Vice President Stew Widdess, who is leaving Macy’s California to take a similar position at Dayton-Hudson Department Stores in Minneapolis. Meunier’s replacement at the Union Square store has not been announced.
