In what guise do you think ballet star Mikhail Baryshnikov will make his dramatic stage debut in March? Would you believe . . . a cockroach? Sure enough, the artistic director of American Ballet Theater will star on Broadway in an adaptation of Franz Kafka’s existential masterpiece “Metamorphosis,” about a man who wakes to discover he has become a giant insect. The Baryshnikov version will begin rehearsals in January.
