Controversy Over Abortion

Women voters, thanks to Michael Dukakis, will have a clear opportunity on Nov. 8 to strike a blow for women’s rights.
The U.S. Supreme Court in 1973 held that during the first three months of a pregnancy, it is a woman’s right to decide whether or not to carry a fetus to term. Dukakis supports that right. Bush thinks the government would know better! What inconsistent arrogance on the part of a Republican candidate who claims to want “to get the government off our backs!”
