All three of Los Angeles’ network-owned television stations, plus Dodger flagship station Channel 11, are planning live coverage of the Dodgers’ parade and rally Monday in downtown Los Angeles.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 9th and Broadway, proceed north on Broadway to 1st Street, then head east to City Hall, where a noon rally will be held on the lawn.
Channel 2’s coverage will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Channel 4’s from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Channel 7’s, for just the rally, from noon to 1 p.m.
Channel 11’s coverage will be the most extensive, from 11 a.m. until all the festivities have concluded. “Things could go on until February,” quipped Channel 11 sports producer Bob Guerrero.
Five floats will carry the Dodger players and coaches.
