Burroughs 21, San Gabriel 17--Burroughs quarterback Marco Arcipreste scored from 3 yards with 3:17 to play to give the Indians (4-3, 1-1) the win at home.
Arcipreste completed 9 of 17 for 118 yards and threw a scoring pass to receiver Tommy Phillips to pull Burroughs to within 3 points of the Matadors (3-4, 1-1) at halftime.
