Teen-Ager Wins $125,000 for Strip-Search at School

NEW YORK — A jury has awarded $125,000 to a teen-ager who was strip-searched when school officials suspected her of carrying marijuana. The plaintiff in the case decided Wednesday, Kim Stevens, now 19, was a 15-year-old senior at Herbert Lehman High School in the Bronx when the search occurred in 1984. No marijuana was found on Stevens.
