A Gwinnett County coroner’s jury in Lawrenceville, Ga., ruled as undetermined the cause of the cocaine-related death of Atlanta Falcons defensive back David Croudip.
County medical examiner Joe Burton, who earlier had said the death was an accident, told the panel during an inquest that all of the facts behind Croudip’s death appear to rule out foul play.
“Everything about this case is consistent with an accident,” Burton said. “All of the innuendo raised . . . do not change that fact.”
