Simi Valey Scores 1-0 Soccer Victory

Senior Danny Madsen scored 18 minutes into the match and Simi Valley High’s defense made the goal stand up in a 1-0 nonleague soccer win Saturday over host Bishop Montgomery. Madsen, who is regularly a goalkeeper, moved to midfield for Satruday’s match. He was assisted on the score by Andre Markarian.
Simi Valley improved to 2-0:Bishop Montgomery fell to 1-1.
In another nonleague match, senior Steve Cole Scored on a penalty kick to lead visiting Paraclete to a 1-0 win over Moorpark.
