Several ramps along the Ventura Freeway in Woodland Hills and Tarzana will be closed this weekend as work continues on a project to widen and upgrade the freeway between Calabasas and the Hollywood Freeway.
The eastbound and westbound Tampa Avenue off-ramps were closed at 9 p.m. Friday and will be opened at 5:30 a.m. Monday, a state Transportation Department spokesman said.
Also closed were the Vanalden Avenue eastbound on-ramp, the Fallbrook Avenue eastbound off-ramp, the Woodlake Avenue eastbound off-ramp and the Woodlake Avenue westbound on-ramp.
The far right lanes in both directions of four Ventura Freeway underpasses--at Tampa, Woodlake, Vanalden and Ventura Boulevard--also were closed.
Motorists may call a toll-free, 24-hour hot line--800 CALL VIP--for updated recorded information about lane closures involving the freeway improvement project.
