It is an inspiration to applaud the piece “A Celebration of Our Ethnic Variety,” by Nikolas Patsaouras, chairman of West Coast Gateway (Op-Ed Page, Nov. 28). His description of the Gateway which will tower over the downtown freeway and thus become L.A.’s crown jewel is, to me, a call for action. I wonder how we, the people of this wondrous metropolis, may take part in this tribute to our ethnicity. We would be honoring ourselves in supporting this monumental undertaking.
