The Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. has honored Marcel Ophuls’ “Hotel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie” for best achievement for a documentary film in 1988; Derek Jarman’s “Last of England” and Al Razutis’ “Amerika” for best achievement for an independent/experimental film; and given special awards to the makers of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” for outstanding technical achievement and the UCLA Television and Film Archive for its contribution to the presentation and preservation of film and television. These awards were not included in a news report in Monday’s Calendar on the group’s choices.
