ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An experimental class at the University of Rochester is helping optics graduate students learn to create viable high-tech businesses.
“Optical Enterpreneurship” pairs MBA candidates with the optics students, and takes teams through the steps of construction a business plan--from cash-flow charts to attraction venture capital and to developing a client base.
