The University of Georgia, seeking a replacement for football coach Vince Dooley, who is resigning, has interviewed two of Dooley’s assistants--George Haffner, offensive coordinator, and Dale Strahm, defensive coordinator--and is set to talk with North Carolina State Coach Dick Sheridan.
Sheridan, 47, has a 19-13-2 record in 3 years at North Carolina State. He has 5 years remaining on his contract, which pays him about $93,000 a year.
