Dun & Bradstreet Corp. announced plans for a major restructuring that involves laying off an undisclosed number of employees and discontinuing some products and businesses. New York-based D&B;, the world’s largest business information company, said costs of the moves, along with others either planned or being studied, should offset the $450-million after-tax gain that it will get from the sale of its Official Airline Guides business to British publisher Robert Maxwell.
