Nine community college football players, including Rancho Santiago wide receiver Kerry Reed, have signed letters of intent to attend Cal State Fullerton, the school announced Thursday.
Six of the nine are defensive players as Fullerton tries to shore up the defense, which has only three starters returning next season.
Besides Reed, Fullerton signed defensive backs Bobby Biaz (Citrus), Darrell Bruce (College of the Sequoias), Lionel Denman (San Bernardino) and Ken McKeyer (Santa Monica), linebacker Chad Lindsay (Ventura) defensive tackle Dave Dorf (Citrus), offensive lineman Tim Drevno (El Camino) and wide receiver Rick Brown (Diablo Valley).
