Olympic runner Jeff Atkinson broke from the pack in the final 200 meters to win the fourth annual Fiesta Bowl Mile through the streets of Phoenix. Atkinson, 24, of Manhattan Beach, ran 4 minutes 5.20 seconds. Defending champion Marcus O’Sullivan of Ireland finished second in 4:05.6.
