A self-described white-supremacist “skinhead” was arrested in Bakersfield in connection with the racially motivated, drive-by shooting death of a Reno man, officers said. Police said Matthew D. Faessel, 18, was being held without bail. An arrest warrant charges Faessel with murder and conspiracy in the Dec. 10 shooting death of Tony Montgomery, 27. Faessel and two other suspects in the case have been identified as “skinheads,” young neo-Nazis linked to racial and religious crimes in 24 states. The teens allegedly cruised Reno looking for a black person and shot Montgomery.
