If your year-end wrap up of major record label activity, Patrick Goldstein and Paul Grein referred to the sound track to “John Lennon: Imagine” as a “stiff” (Pop Eye, Dec. 25).
In actuality, the album has done quite well (recently placing 2 in Tower Records chainwide CD chart) and has just passed the mark for gold record status well after the film has faded away.
More stiffs, please!
