U.S. Workers, Not Corporate Raiders, Are Indispensable to Nation’s Economy

Archimedes said that if he had “a lever long enough and a prop strong enough,” he could move the Earth.
Evidently, some ingenious financiers have found that lever (the modern word is leverage) in the form of junk bonds, and they certainly have created giant movement in the commercial world.
One hopes that these operators will avoid the element of greed and work toward improving our national economy.
