Mark McKoy and Courtney Brown, who abandoned the Canadian relay teams at the Seoul Olympics in the wake of the Ben Johnson scandal, were suspended from competition.
McKoy, a hurdler who was supposed to run in the 400 relay, will not be able to compete for national teams for 2 years, said Paul Dupre, president of the Canadian Track and Field Assn. Brown, who was a member of the 400 team, is banned from running for Canada for a year.
