RAF Jet Crashes in Sea

DUNDEE, Scotland — A Royal Air Force Phantom jet fighter crashed in the North Sea on Monday during a training mission, and the pilot was missing, the air force said. An air force helicopter picked up the jet’s other crewman, the navigator, from a dinghy near the crash site, 52 miles off the eastern Scotland port city of Dundee, an air force spokesman said.
