Pan Am executives as well as the FAA must be breathing a great sign of relief at the concluding evidence that a bomb destroyed Flight 103. Now they’re free to keep flying their ancient crates.
If I can get full information on ingredients, nutritional value and expiration date on a can of beans before I buy it, why can’t I have some basic information about the plane on which I’m going to be a captive passenger? When I buy an airline ticket I would like a printed rundown on the plane’s age, condition and flying history. Why not?
