Reagan’s Farewell Address Today

WASHINGTON — President Reagan’s televised farewell address at 6 p.m. today will be a look at his accomplishments over the last eight years and the goals ahead, his spokesman said Tuesday.
Marlin Fitzwater said Reagan spent several hours Monday working on the speech, which he described as “a personal kind of look at what he tried to do, his accomplishments, a look at the world.” Reagan will speak from the Oval Office.
