Allstate Insurance Buys 101 Acres

Allstate Insurance Co. of Northbrook, Ill., will buy 101 acres of undeveloped land, representing the third phase of the 266-acre Scripps Ranch Business Park, from the project’s developer, Currie Partners Inc. of San Diego. According to Currie, the sale price was more than $30 million.
The business park is located north of San Diego on Interstate 15, east of the Carroll Canyon exit.
Ron Currie, the firm’s president, said Allstate will provide ongoing financing, and that he and his partner, Larry Woodward, will continue with construction, sales and project management.
