N/S Corp., an Inglewood carwashing equipment maker, has acquired Palmer Engineering and Manufacturing Co. of Covina for an undisclosed price. N/S began discussions with Palmer about two years ago, said G. Thomas Ennis, N/S president. Ben Palmer, founder of Palmer Engineering, is considered a pioneer in the carwash industry, especially in the area of water reclamation. Palmer will serve as a consultant to N/S.
