Taft’s Walker Accepts Oregon State Offer

Uda Walker, a Taft High defensive back, has made a verbal commitment to attend Oregon State. The earliest high school seniors can sign letters of intent is Feb. 8.

Walker, an-All West Valley League selection, intercepted 4 passes for 68 yards last season. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 165-pound senior also caught 19 passes for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns as a wide receiver.
